Sheila C. Boyington serves as the National States Chair for Million Women Mentors® assisting in leading the states and national movement and other efforts focused on women in STEM.
She also leads Thinking Media’s Learning Blade® adoptions which is a Battelle-validated platform increasing interest in STEM careers in schools across the country. Sheila has received many awards for her entrepreneurship and leadership including the Athena, SuperNova and Small Business of the Year.
Sheila is a successful engineering entrepreneur exuding her passion, strong management and leadership skills. Those skills lead to high adoption of the Thinking Media tools. Thinking Media was also the creator of ACT’s KeyTrain® system for WorkKeys® (acquired by ACT in 2011), PictureRx® for health literacy, and CharacterEd.Net® for K-12 character education. Sheila is Professional Engineer, with an M.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering from the UC at Berkeley and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida.
